Chef and Guests is a private chef, fine dining experience designed to bring people together over the love of fine food. This is a unique culinary experience bringing you restaurant quality food and services directly into the comfort of your own home or at an exclusive venue (Rentals accommodations, wilderness locations, etc.).

CHEF AND GUESTS is design for: 1. Families and friends, 2. Wedding anniversaries, 3. Romantic dinners, 4. Birthday dinners, 5. Team building, 6.Baby showers, 7. And for all the food lovers out there.

Our services are provided by professional chefs. Each one of them is selected based on their skills and passion for fine food and people.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and an invoice. Once the invoice has been paid, you will receive a call from the chef. The chef will introduce himself/herself and ask you some questions about your dinner and your kitchen equipment. Then all you have to do is sit back, relax, and wait eagerly for the day of your event!

You supply the plates, glasses, and cutlery. If you don’t have enough plates, glasses, and cutlery, your chef can supply them at an additional cost. You supply the pots and pans.

Your chef will be able to serve up to 8 guests alone. For booking of more than 8 guests, your chef will need an assistant to help prepare, serve and make the whole experience go smoothly. Depending on the chosen menu (number of courses to be served), your chef might need an assistant for booking of 6 people and above. The assistant will come at an additional fee which will be added to the invoice.

Yes, your chef will be able to adjust a menu to suit any dietary requirements. If you need a custom menu, please consider submitting a custom enquiry.

Your chef will contact you and arrange the time he/she needs to be at your home or venue. On average 2 hours before the actual mealtime.

The drinks or wines are not included in the menu price. We have partnered with GETWINE.CO.ZA to bring you a large selection of South African wines to match our chefs' gourmet menus. Order the wines suggested by your chef at www.getwine.co.za and get them delivered to your door.

Yes, we cater for children. Children under 12 are charged half of the adults' menu price.

Yes, your chef will clean your kitchen and the dishes used before leaving.

If you cancel your booking one week before the scheduled date, you will be fully refunded. If you cancel your booking between 72 hours and one week before the scheduled date, we will refund you 50% of the amount paid. There will be no refund if you cancel your booking less than 48 hours before the scheduled date. Please note that this refund policy with regards to cancellation excludes the Booking Fee (5%) which is non-refundable for any cancellation.

Our chefs will contact you before the date of the booking to confirm what they need and will adjust their work to the size and equipment of your kitchen.

We currently only accept EFT payments. We will be adding more payment methods soon.
